Structured CPD is a requirement, and meeting the hours is rarely the difficulty. Meeting them with material that changes anything is harder.
This matters because the hours are spent either way. Learning that alters a process, a conversation or a technical judgement is worth considerably more than a webinar completed in the background.
Questions to open the discussion:
- Which piece of CPD in the last year actually changed something in your work?
- Which formats hold your attention — technical deep dives, case studies, live discussion?
- Where is the current CPD offering weakest for your role?
Please keep contributions general and avoid promoting specific training providers.
Adviser Forum publishes prompts like this to open professional discussion, not to set out a position. Contributions carrying practical detail are the most valuable, provided they contain no client information, no regulated advice and no confidential material belonging to your firm or a third party.
